JobScouts announces $200,000 Stimulus Plan

March 30th, 2020 – 9:32am

Melbourne, Australia – In response to the massive shift in workforces and employment arrangements caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, JobScouts Founder Daniel Martin today announced a $200,000 JobScouts Stimulus plan.

Designed in three phases to Redirect, Rebuild and Regenerate workforces, the plan seeks to support both employers, workers and the community at large.

Initially the Redirect phase will support businesses who have had to stand staff down in redirecting their workforce to alternative employment opportunities.

The Rebuild phase will commence once it becomes viable for workforces to recommence and businesses to reopen. The plan will support employers in accessing displaced workers at scale and re-staffing their workforces.

Finally, the Regenerate phase will initiate when businesses are back up to their normal operation. Activities in this phase will support employers in filling their teams with best fit workers to meet the demand of the booming economy.

As part of the plan, JobScouts is committing $200,000 worth of support to cover Scout fees during the Redirect and Rebuild phases. In further support, businesses who choose to use the community to fill the roles they have open will have the JobScouts platform fee waived.

The Stimulus Plan will be made available to businesses effective from March 30th. Plan phases will move in line with economic progression.

In reference to the involvement of community members, Mr Martin said “We encourage all members of the community to join and prepare for the job ahead. It doesn’t matter whether you’re employed, recently unemployed, long term unemployed, retired or just a concerned citizen, your involvement will make a tangible difference as we go through these phases.”

It is expected that the plan should see the successful placement of up to 2 Million displaced workers.
