Frequently Asked Questions

It’s simple. JobScouts is success based. If you hire, then the incentive is paid out to the Scout who referred your Candidate. If you don’t hire, you get your money back.

There’s no catch and it’s not complicated.

You hire, you pay.

You don’t hire, you get a refund.

This is no different to any other online platform. You purchase what you need and then the service commences.

When you purchase your Hiring Pack, your subscription is instantly activated and the incentive for your role is allocated to your account.

The incentive is then held in escrow for the duration of the role being live. This is vital because the Scouts need a guarantee that they’ll be paid when they make a placement – otherwise they won’t bother scouting for your role.

Upon completion of your listing, if you have hired then the money is paid out of Escrow to the referring Scout. If you have not hired, the money is then returned.

Using JobScouts CrowdSearch© Technology, Scouts are empowered with the tools to publish your role on a variety of different locations around the internet. Some of these locations are social media sites, others are niche job boards and job listings sites specifically targeted to your geographic region or industry.

There are at minimum 45 locations Scouts have access to through CrowdSearch© but this list continually grows. Your role will get selected exposure to all the relevant sites on that list.

Social Media is one reason, multiple publishing locations is another. Each role that a Scout works on, they publish to a variety of different locations using CrowdSearch©. This means that your role – without you having to pay anything extra at all – will be seen by 100,000’s to millions of people.

This is quite deliberate. The whole problem with putting your job on a job board is the fact that you get too many applicants. JobScouts is here to solve that.

Through the Candidate Filtering feature built in to CrowdSearch© Scouts are required to view and assess each Candidate with respect to how well they fit your role.

Scouts only get a limited number of ‘chances’ to put forward Candidates (you get to choose how many chances they get). If they run out of chances for a role, they are effectively ‘out’. This means they miss out of any chance to make the placement.

So, it’s in their interest to put forward only the best Candidates. This is why you only get 10 to 20 Candidates. They are already pre-vetted.

Since every Candidate is pre-vetted, the chances of them leaving is less than someone ‘off the street’. However, for a variety of reasons this can happen.

To help with this circumstance, you have the option to nominate a probationary period for your role. You can then split the incentive between placement and probation completion.

This means that the Scout will receive part of the incentive upon placement, but will then have to wait until the end probation completion to receive the rest.

If your candidate does not complete probation, you can mark it as such in JobScouts and then you’ll receive the remainder of the incentive back.

Each Hiring pack is made up of two primary components.

  • Your first months subscription
  • An incentive (including handling fee)

So, when you purchase your Hiring Pack, there are no more fees to pay, everything you need to get your job live and get Candidates is all paid for.

JobScouts is a Subscription based platform. Employers with an active subscription can post as many jobs as they want, have as many Candidates as they like, choose any incentive they like, and run their own company branded Careers page (+ Internal Referral Program).

To get your job live quickly and without hassle, the first months subscription is included in your hiring pack. This means that the instant you purchase your hiring pack, your subscription becomes active.

Prior to the end of your first month you’ll receive an email reminding you that the month is coming to an end and providing you with options on what you’d like to do next.

At the end of the first month, nearing the end of your first months subscription, you’ll receive an email reminding you.

You’ll be provided options with what you’d like to do with your subscription, which include continuing the subscription, pausing the subscription or discontinuing the subscription.

You can post as many jobs as you like.

Each hiring pack only includes one job, but after you’ve posted your first job you’re free to add as many other jobs as you like, including any incentive you choose.

With an active Subscription, employers are free to add as many roles as they like.

At the closure of any job, any unused funds are immediately returned to your JobScouts Wallet.

This is automatic and requires no action from you.

Those funds are accessible to be used on any other role you like immediately and in to the future – the funds do not expire.

If you require the funds to be refunded back to the originating credit card, you can contact your JobScouts account manager and the refund will be processed immediately.
